Book here for free Irish Sign Language artist led workshops in Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda, Co. Louth. I’ll be delivering my workshop in Week 3.
AAEX (Art as Exchange) in collaboration with Droichead Arts Centre, as part of an ongoing focus on diversity and inclusion in the community, specifically around diverse groups and their involvement in regional arts activities, will provide workshops and a visual arts programme, facilitated and guided byprofessional artists to Irish sign language speakers. The aim is to provide participants with the tools and opportunities that aid self-expression and personal development, as well as facilitate a shared learning experience working together as a group in a playful and fun environment. Participants will develop a small portfolio of artworks which will be celebrated in a final presentation at the end of the project.
Suitable for adults, including young adults aged 13+ (ages 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult participant) | Dur: 2 Hours | 5 Week Course | Participants must attend each week.
